Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network / Systems Engineer to join their team to assist in the administration of the network infrastructure and daily systems operations. The Systems Engineer will leverage their domain experience in communications and network systems engineering to participate with a multidisciplinary technical team to develop and maintain systems solutions for the firm's on-premise and cloud infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The position covers the entire life cycle management for the firm's network infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain VMWare infrastructure.
• Responsible for AWS network administration, such as VPCs, Internet gateways, Transit Gateways, NAT gateways, and Direct Connects
• Manage and monitor the backup and replication of virtual infrastructure
• Conduct BC and DR tests annually to ensure the reliability of BCDR processes and update the documentation accordingly
• Proficient with creating and maintaining network diagrams using Microsoft Visio
• Work alongside the Operations team to patch servers using automated patch deployments technology such as WSUS or SCCM
• In-depth knowledge of SCCM architecture design and deployment
• Maintenance & support of the middleware servers and applications such as SQL servers, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and VOIP systems
• Create and maintain Operations documentation repository, runbooks, and operating manuals, including updates to disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Maintain the server and network physical asset inventory
• Provide administrative support for all cloud-managed solutions such as OKTA, Office365, MobileIron, and Cisco Umbrella
• Monitor server security posture using Tenable.io for vulnerability management
• Responsible for Meraki firewall management and ACL rule administration
• Provide L3 escalation support for system outages and troubleshooting issues

Job Type:

Full-time (Hybrid)

Hybrid Hours:
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Minimum 3 days a week in office
2 days a week, remotely
Rotating On-Call Schedule
