Aethon Energy Operating LLCs (Aethon) Inventory Analyst is responsible for administering the materials and inventory control process to include, creating reports for fixed asset inventory currently in operation as well as in storage along with conducting physical inventory and cycle counts on-site across all company locations. This position will be based at our field office located in Ringgold, LA.

DUTIES & JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the inventory control database system utilizing the companys ERP platform and coding structure for items stored in various locations and fixed assets currently in operation.
• Using established procedures and processes, manage inventory and materials, prevent inventory discrepancies and provide information to re-deploy existing inventory, including the material transfer process
• Prepare information necessary for accurate material transfers
• Responsible for conducting physical cycle counts and reconciling count discrepancies as well as reporting on the discrepancies; develop action plans to improve procedures and processes resulting in improved inventory accuracy
• Assist in analyzing excess inventory and develop processes to reduce and re-deploy excess inventory working with Operations, Completions, Drilling and Engineering
• Assist in managing the database for tracking assets in operation including serial number, location and other information as necessary
• Assists in keeping storage yards safe and organized by observing all company safety policies and communicating issues as observed
• Responsible for moving material from location to location as needed
• Assist in annual tax renderings and verifications

Requirements

Education & Work Experience:

• Associates (2 year) Degree in Business related discipline is preferred. Equivalent experience is accepted.
• Minimum of 3 years of prior experience in hands on inventory management/control

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

• Intermediate or Advanced PC Skills MS Office
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Personal & Soft Skills:

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to interact and work with people and other disciplines

Physical & Other Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Successful candidate will be able to meet company standard background check specific to individual role prior to employment and will be subject to Company Drug & Alcohol Program
• Must be able to meet company insurability requirements at all times and hold a valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle
• Ability to perform indoor/outdoor activities, including lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds
• May require bending, reaching, working at heights and around moving machinery
• Frequently exposed to changes in outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to wear PPE, as required
• Willingness and availability to work weekends, as needed
