Responsibilities:

• Process accurate and timely payroll for construction projects, considering prevailing wage rates, union contracts, and certified payroll requirements.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for prevailing wages and certified payroll reporting.
• Verify and reconcile timesheets, pay rates, and fringe benefits based on prevailing wage schedules and union contracts.
• Address employee payroll inquiries and promptly resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports as required by government agencies and project specifications.
• Stay updated on changes in prevailing wage rates, union agreements, and certified payroll regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional payroll administration certification or training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage laws, union contracts, and certified payroll reporting.
• Proficiency in payroll software and automated timekeeping systems.
