• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets for construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of project bids and estimates by providing accurate financial data.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify variances and propose corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulations impacting construction accounting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing and revenue recognition.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and project management software is a plus.
