Insurance Policy Services Manager

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Insurance Policy Services Manager to join our team and provide supervision and support to our policy services team.

Job Summary:

The Insurance Policy Services Manager will be responsible for managing the policy services process and team. This role involves overseeing the overall process, planning and execution of the policy management life cycle, ensuring that policies are reviewed accurately and in a timely manner, and managing a team of underwriting analyst professionals. The Insurance Policy Services Manager will also be responsible for driving process improvement for greater efficiency and effectiveness of the policy services process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide leadership to a team of Underwriting Analyst, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members are meeting performance goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, developing and evaluating team members.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and help set up new business relations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the policy services process.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that policy services processes are aligned with the company's overall objectives and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze policy services metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to policy services. Continuously evaluate the policy services process to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance policy services management.
  • Previous experience supervising and managing a large team.
  • Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance policy services processes and systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
