Your Role

We are looking for a Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join our team and support the operational aspects of the Human Resources group. The HR Generalist will work closely with the Head of HR and across the organization to assist in recruitment, pre- and new-hire processes, orientation & onboarding, employee engagement and professional development initiatives, benefits administration, payroll processing, leave administration, and employee lifecycle operations. You will act as the main point of contact for employee queries on HR-related topics.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in a Human Resources support role
  • BS/BA in Business Administration or relevant field
  • Ability to work on-site regularly, and transition seamlessly in a virtual environment
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, SaaS platforms
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Experience presenting orientation & training documents to employees
  • Understanding of employment/labor laws
  • Excellent communication, people skills and team player
  • Aptitude in problem-solving and a passion for learning
  • Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task, with proven careful follow-through
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Passionate about being a trusted partner to transform behavioral healthcare
  • Results driven -- documented success in exceeding goals and objectives
  • Demonstrated commitment to the core values of the company

Responsibilities

  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment efforts.
  • Conduct pre- and new-hire processes, including pre-employment background check order & review.
  • Coordinate new hire trainings and conduct new hire orientations.
  • Keep employee pulse - coordinate check-ins with new hires, those in new roles and otherwise as appropriate.
  • Serve as point-person for employee questions and support, investigate questions to find answers & redirecting or escalating as appropriate.
  • Maintain HRIS systems in an accurate and confidential manner.
  • Assist in payroll processing, benefits and employee leave administration
  • Manage employee termination procedures
  • Assist in development and implementation of Company policies
  • Performance Management, including performance review cycle and performance improvement plans
  • Maintain employee files in accurate and confidential manner
  • Maintain Company intranets.
  • Other duties as assigned
