Come join our global supply chain organization supporting operations across all our Companies. The Transportation Analyst: Freight Pay will deliver exceptional customer experience through leading critical customer-facing-functions such as customer service, distribution, and transportation. In addition, will oversee critical business enablers, including how to gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. The Transportation Analyst supports all sectors of CompanyMedical Devices, Vision and Pharmaceutical. Located in every region of the world where Company operates, this role is a critical component of our supply chain, working collaboratively to ensure that quality, safety and the experience of our customers is our top priority.

In this role, you will work with our external audit companies, transportation carriers, and internal business partners to streamline freight pay processes and resolve transactional issues. You can help us reach our goal of ensuring our carriers get paid on time, auditors are held accountable to perform to expectations, and we have complete confidence weve paid the correct amount for freight expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver strong results across critical Freight Pay metrics and drive accountability with third party auditors
  • Maximize the effectiveness of the supplier relationship with external auditing firms by leading weekly operational calls, hosting carrier reviews, and implementing process improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Transportation Operations, Procurement, Finance, 4PL) to resolve freight audit and pay related issues
  • Provide recommendations on short- and long-term fixes to operational challenges
  • Use data to ensure end to end processing of freight invoices is complete and pull together analysis as needed to provide insights to gaps.

Requirements

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, Finance and/or Freight audit and pay processes
  • Proven strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to effectively work with external business partners
  • Demonstrated ability to balance and prioritize multiple initiatives successfully and lead others to success
  • Intermediate proficiency in Excel to effectively analyze data, translate business requirements, and develop metrics and dashboards

Preferred:

  • Financial literacy in accounts receivable, payable, or budgeting processes
  • Experience, training, or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Process Excellence tools & methodology
  • Tableau, Power BI, or other equivalent data visualization systems experience
Other:
  • Requires fluency in English (oral and written)
