Position Summary

We are looking for an exceptional Facilities Coordinator who is flexible, reliable, outgoing, professional, and has a positive work attitude. It is important that everyone encounters friendly and professional service and that our office run efficiently.

Requirements

What Youll Do

  • Manage facility and lab equipment annual maintenance schedules.
  • Liaison to IT to ensure office support needs are being met. Assistance may be required to perform on site IT tasks. Basic understanding of computer set-ups, hardware terminology, and simple network diagnosis will be necessary.
  • Coordinate with contractors for building maintenance and upkeep: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, janitorial, movers, etc.
  • Documenting processes and keeping maintenance records.
  • Respond to urgent maintenance calls.
  • Prepare for emergencies by creating building evacuation and other action plans.
  • Perform minor general building maintenance including but not limited to hanging whiteboards, moving furniture, install monitor arms, change light bulbs, etc.
  • Stock and maintain food/beverage. This role will be responsible for maintaining the common areas as well as stock maintenance for all kitchen and supplies.
  • Coordinate and assist with all aspects of relocation of employee workspace/offices including moving furniture as necessary.
  • Support and assist with space planning and developing requirements and project scopes to manage the various operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and report any damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards immediately to Manager.
  • Handling of all incoming packages and creating shipping labels for outgoing packages.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years relevant facilities/maintenance experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of building safety regulations and security protocols.
  • Advanced knowledge of maintenance planning and schedules.
  • Ability to respond to building and equipment emergencies.
  • Ability to liaise with vendors and contractors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and collaborators, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • US citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required by US export control laws.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay Range

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, performance bonus, benefits, and equity. The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $115,000 including annual bonus. It's atypical to be hired at the top end of this range for the role, as actual pay is based on several factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience level.
