Coordinating and providing support over the telephone and in person using computers
Analyzing and resolving standard software, hardware, and network problems
Troubleshooting and resolving system/application related support requests pertaining to the maintenance and administration of computer hardware and software
First-level customer assistance to identify and verify problems, resolve issues, and determine when escalation is necessary
Coordinating with end users and/or managers to ensure customer satisfaction
Installing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring peripherals and operating systems
Planning, implementing, installing, monitoring and testing hardware and software upgrades and patches with appropriate tools
Processing service requests from end users regarding problems with computer hardware, software, and/or peripheral equipment
Writing and tracking trouble tickets and/or work orders as well as reviewing trouble reports related to hardware and software problems
Maintaining records of work completed and their resolution
Scheduling and running jobs and reports
Identification management support includes creating user IDs, modifying user profiles, resetting passwords, assigning basic user access permissions consistent with County policies and procedures, documenting all changes and revisions, and performing regular file maintenance.
Requirements
Rebuild Windows 10 desktops and install related
Testing and setting up basic hardware and software configurations
Connecting computers to printers, scanners, PDA's, and other peripheral equipment
Performing workstation troubleshooting
Configuring new desktop images
Performing basic maintenance and repair on system components
Performing routine system backups, upgrades, and/or other hardware/software support activities
