The Candidate must:
- Fulfill the qualifications and experience required for the relevant job position within the LanTech's GSA contract.
- Be able to pass a criminal background screening in accordance with section 18.0 of the description that will be provided upon hiring.
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals including, but not limited to, the following: executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Possess excellent technical writing skills, including the ability to write complex reports, plans, and briefings
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Understand Department requirements under chapter 282, Florida Statutes.
- Understand how to maintain the confidentiality of records in accordance with Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, and Department policy.
- A deep understanding of networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- A proven track record of successfully managing networks for clients in diverse industries.
- Be well-versed in implementing and managing security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and virtual private networks (VPNs)
- Be adept at utilizing network monitoring tools and analyzing network performance metrics to identify and address issues proactively.
- Be able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical individuals, understand client requirements, and provide timely updates and reports.
- Possess industry certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CompTIA Network+, and Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA), among others.
Requirements SCOPE OF WORK and DELIVERABLES An MSP Contractor is needed to ensure the stability, performance, and security of an Agency Department's network infrastructure. The MSP Contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Leverage technology to monitor the Departments network continuously to identify and address any performance issues, bottlenecks, or security threats. 2. Perform ongoing maintenance tasks to include, but not limited to, installing patches, updates, and security fixes to keep the network up-to-date and secure. 3. Provide assistance, as needed, with configuration changes to firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, virtual private networks, and the development of security policies and procedures. 4. Provide assistance with the configuration and optimization of routers, switches, and access points to ensure efficient and reliable operations. 5. Provide assistance troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues and outages. 6. Analyze network performance and provide the department with weekly reports, due by Friday each week, providing insights into the health of the network, its capacity, and utilization. 7. Work with the Department to develop disaster recover plans to ensure network resilience in the face of disasters or disruptions. 8. Provide round-the-clock support. 9. Provide consultation relating to technology trends, network architecture, and strategic planning. Benefits Corp-2-Corp $50-$60/hour
