The Job...

Clickbanks Retention Marketing Manager develops, manages, and optimizes retention campaigns and student experiences across Emails, LMS, product and other touchpoints to increase lifetime value of Spark students, Accelerator users, and rebills. This team member will also work closely with the Clickbank product team to set up new products, partner with customer success and support to maintain alignment and actively solve any product issues, and improve the overall product by collecting customer feedback and performing tests.

Responsibilities

Four Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Spark/Accelerator Student Rebill revenue - Owns the rebill number and retention metrics
  • Spark Student/Accelerator Success and activation On platform student sales
  • Spark Student/Accelerator Experience and Product Setup
  • Spark Student/Accelerator Support / Customer Success Coordination
  • Identify and own key performance indicators that levy up to positive rebill growth.
  • Constantly research, gather data, and hypothesize and run tests to identify new levers that impact these KPIs.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns aimed at improving subscriber retention across multiple channels (email, product, chat, surveys, on-site messaging)
  • Partner with internal (product, ENG, customer success) and external resources (vendors) to develop and execute all retention marketing campaigns
  • Develop key messaging points and direct response creative across mediums that drive engagement and retention
  • Partner with email program managers to test and develop email best practices that drive retention.
  • Partner with education content manager to ensure coursework and content drives on platform sales + run experiments to improve rebill success
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance including email metrics, conversion, and retention to understand effectiveness and ROI
  • Compare and analyze course, community, and tool engagement data with retention, stick rate, and rebill data to draw conclusions, tell stories, and help guide future content, community, and tool development.
  • Setup new Spark products on the Clickbank platform and work with education content manager and marketing developer to set up inside Thinkific LMS.
  • You are a self-starter, detail oriented and can adhere to and implement processes and protocols

  • You are highly organized to keep track of multiple projects running simultaneously

  • You have a history of developing creative strategy briefs and working alongside a creative team with a proven track record of impacting retention numbers.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of direct experience with retention marketing and/or customer lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience developing and managing retention marketing plan across specific segments
  • Experience developing and executing integrated marketing programs across email, product, courses, community, and on-site.
  • Ability to analyze digital platform usage to identify various targets and help tailor marketing communications segmented for those audiences in order to influence retention.
  • Ability to measure and analyze performance and KPI's across marketing tactics and help to identify testing plans and ongoing optimization of the conversion funnel
  • Experience in Developing a testing calendar for email with the goal of optimizing targeting, segmentation, creative, and serving dynamic content to maximize retention, upsell and winback strategies.
  • Proven ability to feed acquisition and retention insights into editorial and product development teams where applicable
