Responsibilities

  • Manage the forecasting process for Exotec North America, including quarterly forecast planning, data collection, validation, interpretation of any variances and identification of financial risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the monthly closing process and certify the consistency of main accounting entries, anticipating any changes that may impact the forecast.
  • Report regularly on business performance to senior management team members and other key stakeholders in the following areas: main business drivers, variance analysis (volume, pricing, COGS, labor, sales & marketing expenses, SG&A), etc.
  • Optimize existing financial processes or, where necessary, suggest and implement new processes with an aim toward improving efficiency.
  • Ensure Exotec's North America financial business is operating in compliance with Exotec's global policies.
  • Partner with regional marketing team members to run analysis on marketing investments and resources post-activity.
  • Support the North America regional sales team in defining and implementing a pricing policy and indexation, tracking order intakes and assisting with accounts receivable efforts.
  • Work with local Engineering teams to monitor the financial execution of installation projects with new customer sites and ensure proper invoicing of maintenance contracts for existing customers.

Requirements


  • 1-2 years of corporate financial or audit firm experience, ideally with some exposure working with international, growing tech scale-ups.
  • Minimum educational requirements of a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in financial planning software systems (SAP, OneStream, PowerBI)
  • Expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for building financial models
  • Experience in taking the lead on financial projects and/or implementing process improvements or policy changes
  • High level of business acumen and ability to drive a long-term, strategic financial vision coupled with the willingness to roll up your sleeves to complete more administrative/operational work as well (e.g. accounts receivable and collections, month-end closing, etc.)
  • Ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the business
