Who we are

Founded in 2012, digitalundivided is the leading non-profit leveraging our data, programs, and advocacy to catalyze economic growth for Latina and Black women entrepreneurs and innovators. Our goal is to create a greater world in which all women of color own their work and worth. Our mission moves the entrepreneurial ecosystem forward, to increase funding, access and opportunities for women of color in business and innovation. Our work and advocacy laid the groundwork to empower generations to speak in profound ways about the realities, experiences, and disparities of entrepreneurship while defining actions for change.

As an organization solving deeply rooted systemic issues, we take a multipronged approach. Our research outcomes sparked a global conversation to eliminate barriers in entrepreneurship. digitalundivided was the first to debut authoritative research on the state of Latina and Black women founders with the ProjectDiane Report. The legacy of ProjectDiane inspires our expanded research efforts, conducted by women of color and focused on women of color in entrepreneurship and the businesses they lead.

digitalundivideds programs -- START, BIG Pre-Accelerator, BREAKTHROUGH, Do You Fellowship and the New C-Suite -- mobilize community, best-in-class resources, advisory, and investment to support women of color founders at all stages of their entrepreneurial and funding journeys. digitalundivideds work is based in the United States, but our impact advancing inclusive innovation resonates globally. Our Values

1 - Team Centeredness

2 - Ownership

3 - Commitment to Cultural Competency & Curiosity

Role & Responsibilities

Black and Latina women entrepreneurs are the fastest growing population of entrepreneurs, yet face significant challenges in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Disparities in capital funding, racial inequities, and a lack of diversity are a few of the barriers that minority women must overcome to find the same success as their non-minority counterparts. digitalundivided leads the global culture shift toward inclusive innovation through powerful, impactful and unmatched thinking on topics ranging from accessing untapped reservoirs of innovation to creating a women centered workplace and entrepreneurship ecosystem. In the next 3 years, we aim to develop a strong pipeline of investor-ready founders, through use of our recently developed Investor Readiness Assessment. We also aim to build out 3 separate verticals for our programming: Launch, Growth, and Scale.

The Launch track will allow for pre-revenue founders to enter at the very start of their founder journey. The Growth track will provide go-to-market strategic programming for founders looking to develop strategies based on what theyve learned about their target markets. Lastly, our Scale vertical targets our post-revenue founders who are well on their way to becoming unicorns and need support scaling their 6, 7, and 8-figure businesses. All founders have access to our founder resource library, mentorship, and quality programming to introduce them to crowdfunding, building relationships with banks to better access debt funding resources, and supplier diversity pipeline development. Were building a membership-based community platform that will provide tools and templates, including a proprietary investor readiness checklist, to prepare founders for investment.
