The Events Administrator Role supports the Bethel Events department in hosting global events (6 annually) and providing support to our local church events (50+ annually) in Redding, CA. The ideal candidate should have strong skillsets in project management, administration, and problem solving. Must be proactive, flexible, have the ability to lead confidently, communicate effectively, and be a team player. Experience in leading and hosting events is preferred. The ideal candidate should also have a passion for Bethel's Mission to be carried out throughout our Conferences. Bethel's mission is revivalthe personal, regional, and global expansion of God's kingdom through His manifest presence. Salary range : $35,000-37,440.00
Responsibilities - Oversee all communication aspects of the Bethel Events Department
- Oversee all media aspects of the Bethel Events Department
- Oversee conference@bethel email which serves as the customer support funnel for all event inquiries and questions
- Oversee and maintain Town Square, which serves are our Events Request homepage for all ministries that require our support
- Serve as liaison to the following departments within Bethel Church: Creative team, Communications team, Production team, Lead Usher, Front Desk team
- Attend meetings as needed and take notes, capture action points, and assist in managing them under the direction of the Event Director until completion
- Assist Bethel Church event administrators and lead training sessions as needed
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as requested and other duties as assigned by the Event Director
- Oversee Brushfire and Arena (Event Registration Platforms)
- Manage Timelines for Events Communication, Assets, and Document Deadlines needed for Events
- Generate and Organize all Documents needed for Events
- Generate Google Drive folders and maintain organization of files and documents
- Manage and facilitate the Volunteers Teams serving at our Featured Conferences from the sign up process all the way until they serve at the event
Requirements - Believes and adheres to the beliefs and vision of Bethel Church
- 2+ years of experience in administration and project management
- Advanced skill in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Calendar, as well as, competent with Mac OS.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Flexible and follow through on multiple tasks at once
- High level of efficiency and productivity.
- Ability to set and keep priorities while multitasking
- Ability to work Independently or with a team
- Excels in a high-paced work environment.
- Ability to work extensive hours during conferences
- Ability to perform a variety of physical labor. This may include lifting and carrying boxes, chairs, equipment, and materials.
Preferred - AA or higher
- Experience in leading and hosting events
- Proven skill at organizing and developing systems that expedite complicated processes
- Strong relational skills
- Critical thinker
- Prior work experience at Bethel is an advantage
- Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM) Alumn
