SoluStaff is recruiting on behalf of our client a specialty pharmaceutical company who is seeking a Corporate Strategy Director. As Director of Corporate Strategy, you will be responsible for facilitating business strategy and growth plans, KPIs, dashboards and drive execution. This position reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, VP Market Access and the Executive Leadership team. You will need to bring a portfolio of pharmaceutical experience demonstrating progressive career growth in strategy development.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and manage the strategic planning process across a growing and diversified markets and products
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of product markets, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Generate data driven recommendations focused on aligning corporate objectives with market and economic trends.
  • Manage the coordination of internal and external resources to successfully delivery strategic initiative, including project planning, KPI development, budgeting and reporting
  • Facilitate the 5 year strategic planning process with all functional leaders, driving alignment and execution of goals and key initiatives
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, or strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor the progress of strategic initiatives and adapt plans as necessary.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of corporate strategy.

Requirements

  • MBA preferred, or Bachelors degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a management position in the Pharmaceuticals industry.
  • Proven experience in pharmaceutical business analytics, strategy development, business operations development and due diligence
  • Minimum of 3 years' project/program management experience with emphasis on complex business coordination and process improvement
  • Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of integrity an discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data driven decision-making.
