Athena is looking for two Associate Producers to join our Agency.

The Associate Producer should be equal parts nimble producer, effective project manager, and industry aficionado. The ideal person has experience working in broadcast and digital content. Detail oriented, with an ability to work collaboratively with others, and be able to maintain a professional presence with executives daily. While their focus will be on supporting the Producer - we see the role as an extension to the broader digital production group - supporting our team holistically from end to end in a highly collaborative environment.

We are also looking for someone who is a creative story teller. The ideal person has experience and passion for social media and is dual-minded: highly creative but also efficiently coordinated and possesses the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories in a fast-paced environment.

Our ideal candidate has the following:

  • Support the research, development, and delivery of studio content.
  • Project support (trafficking materials and versions, managing timelines, scopes, and supporting various productions - both photo & video)
  • Hiring, arranging, and organizing crew members and supervising production personnel
  • Assist in maintaining operations to ensure the studio team is prepared to meet/exceed expectations and client groups are informed, and needs are met.
  • Provide support retrieving critical information from the business to ensure accuracy in content produced along with producing photo/video shoots in partnership with a broader producing team as needed.
  • Work with Producer to identify opportunities for improvement / studio enhancements.
  • Work with Creative Group leaders, Producers and Project Managers to support the team in all project related tasks across mediums.
  • Manage team of Art Directors, Copy Writers, and Motion Designers to ideate and create rich and engaging content in a variety of formats for use across our social media platforms, including Twitter, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok all in a fast-paced setting.
  • Lead end to end process from briefing creative team through delivery to internal client groups and everything in between. Act as liaison between creative and client teams.
  • Provide support retrieving critical information from the business to ensure accuracy in content produced along with producing photo/video shoots in partnership with a broader producing team as needed.
  • Maintain operations to ensure the creative team is prepared to meet/exceed expectations and client groups are informed and needs are met. Effectively following up on assigned tasks.
  • Manage interdisciplinary teams to execute creative concepts into clear sets of deliverables. Assist producers with project scope, timelines, and resource planning.
  • Proactively monitor and research industry conversations, competition and trends to understand the landscape and to generate fresh ideas for digital storytelling.
  • Work with the data and analytics team to pull creative insights and recommendations that will allow our brand to continuously improve engagement and reputation.
  • Other project support as needed including financial aspects of a project such as budget entry, setting up vendors in payment portals.

Requirements

And should have the following experience and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years relevant broadcast production experience.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a high-volume workload
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects and workflows.
  • Ability to work effectively in both a quick-turn newsroom-like atmosphere as well as part of longer range produced projects.
  • Ability to produce effective content quickly and extremely detail-oriented.
  • First person experience working in broadcast production spaces.
  • First person experience with video, photography and/or or visual design mediums shooting, editing, motion graphics, illustration, art and/or can point to numerous projects where you worked side by side with nimble creative teams to execute quickly.
  • Deep understanding and expertise on all social platforms with a demonstrated ability to produce platform specific content.
  • Demonstrated ability to tell brand stories and understand brand reputation work.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects and workflows.
  • Strong portfolio of digital storytelling experience including the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories.
