The Role:

At Charlotte Tilbury, we are looking for a motivated and collaborative Director of People Operations to join our dynamic, high-growth company! As a member of our People and Facilities Team in North America and our global People and Facilities team in the UK, you will be responsible for improving the efficiencies of our current processes and policies while fostering a thriving culture and ensuring compliance throughout the company.

Through effective communication and interpersonal skills, you and your team will be a trusted resource to our #1 customers - our employees, managers, and leaders.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Drive North American People Operations strategy in alignment with our global and regional strategies.
  • Partner and develop strong relationships with stakeholders both locally and globally.
  • Direct responsibility as lead for all people operations and core processes, such as:
    • Partnering closely with our NA People Partners to organize and manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle: onboarding, employee status changes, offboarding, promotions, transfers, and HRIS administration of compensation changes, benefits, and leaves.
    • Be our HRIS superuser.
    • Manage and improve all reporting and data analytics, including global reports and North America dashboard, to ensure we leverage data for insights and future action planning
    • Company policy management, including the employee handbook and all policies and procedures
    • Company compliance
  • Budget management for the NA People team
  • Support the development of the digitalization of our workforce by creating toolkits for key HR programs and providing our employee population and all leaders with the tools they need to be successful
  • Engage and educate employees and leadership on HR policies, programs, and compliance
  • Help drive and embed diversity, equity, & inclusion practices into all we do.
  • Use data to guide your decision-making, whether it is time saved automating a process or the ROI of delivering a great experience.
  • Oversees the management of our Total Rewards function by providing guidance and development to existing Total Rewards team members

Requirements

Reporting Relationships: Reports toVP of People & Facilities, North America. Oversees Manager of Total Rewards & Assistant Manager of People Operations & Total Rewards.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • 7-10 years minimum experience within HR/People function, specifically within HR Operations or Generalist role with a heavy operational focus
  • Experience in the utilization, implementation, and enhancement of enterprise-wide HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors
  • Demonstrates a proactive and empathic attitude in gathering comprehensive information and insights.
  • Systematic and analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement
  • Promotes effective communication by serving as a reliable and knowledgeable point of contact for employees, managers, and leaders throughout the organization.
  • Versatile approach by effectively utilizing your HR knowledge and expertise in detailed operational tasks and strategic planning for the future.
  • Strong interpersonal skill set, including the ability to influence across all levels and regions.
  • Highly effective communication skills (written and oral) and ability to leverage communication skills to be the voice of courage/opposition/support when needed (and keen ability to know what is needed and when).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and takes the initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with great attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills with a love for data and analytics
  • Ability to build from scratch. Tools, Processes, Workshops, etc.
  • Strong understanding of local employment laws in North America
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities simultaneously with strong operations and project management skills.
  • Balanced and fair in approach always, ability to challenge status quo.
  • Experience in small and large global companies (a plus if the experience with companies in hyper-growth mode)!

Base Salary Range: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD **
