Parallel Employment Group is seeking a Food Packaging associate to join our team in the Warehousing industry. As a Food Packaging associate, you will work in collaboration with other team members to receive, sort, and pack food items. You will be a crucial link in ensuring that quality products are delivered to our clients, which include leading food manufacturers across the country.

Responsibilities
- Accurately packing food items in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Inspecting products for defects and damages before packing.
- Operating equipment such as scales, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Monitoring inventory levels and notifying the supervisor if stock is low.
- Keeping a clean and safe work area and reporting any safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve production goals.
- Communicating with supervisors to report any issues or concerns.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a food packaging or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of packaging and labeling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills to input production data and track inventory levels.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
