We have a client seeking a Med-Surg RN for a short-term (3)month contract.
Facility Type: Hospital
Shift:0630-1900 | 48 HOURS/WK GTD
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
At least 1 year of RN Med-Surg Experienced
BLS Certification req'd
Valid AL RN License or Compact License
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their condition
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the medical staff
- Proactively monitor patient condition and vital signs, and intervene when necessary
- Administer medications and treatments according to accepted standards of care
- Provide education to patients and families on how to better manage their health
- Interact with members of the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records of patient care
- Document all assessment information, care plans, treatments, and patient response
- Practice in accordance with hospital policies and protocols
