COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES ISD TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNICIAN | Technician will perform Troubleshoot and make necessary programming changes for NEC & Nortel PBX, Meridian Key systems, MS-teams, Cisco call manager, Cisco gateways, Zoom and Cisco Webex and their peripheral equipment. Technician will troubleshoot Centrex lines and work with various vendors (AT&T, Frontier, etc.) to restore service. Technician can be called upon to troubleshoot and replace damaged cable and jacks. | | | Experience Required | Miscellaneous/ Niche/ Other | | | Experience Preferred | Preferred four years of experience in troubleshooting Cisco VoIP, NEC and Nortel PBX and/or Norstar EKTS equipment. Repair, install, configure, test, maintain, digital and Internet based communications systems and equipment, including servers supporting applications such as voicemail, call recording, automated telephone attendants, and interactive voice response. Knowledge of basic Telephony. knowledge of cabling standards and color codes needed. | | | Education Required | Miscellaneous/ Niche/ Other | | | Education Preferred | 5 years experience and/or College or Technical Trade School certification will be a plus. | | | Additional Information | |
