Reporting to the CEO of Trachte and the President of Parkline, the Trachte Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's EHS programs and initiatives on a corporate level. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing best practices, and driving a culture of safety, health, and environmental stewardship throughout the organization and across multiple facilities.

This role is responsible for providing leadership to the EHS team to ensure the consistent management of our employee policies and practices across the organization. This includes improving the performance of the team through coaching, providing development opportunities, and implementing new tools to improve the organizations overall health and safety of all employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a multi-site or corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
  • Excellent understanding of safety and environmental risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
  • Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver EHS training programs.
  • Previous experience leading a team that is dispersed geographically.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Professional certifications in EHS management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist) are highly desirable.
