The Repairs Operations Manager provides strong leadership to its Repair Department technician staff to remain focused in order to meet the customer contractual TAT, uphold required regulatory standards, and ensure continued improvement of process efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as FAA Accountable Manager
  • Conversant in FAA CFR Part 145, Part 65, and Part 43
  • Awareness of FAA/EASA BASA and MAG as it applies to the company Repair Station
  • Monitor daily work flow and delegate order management to shop floor leads
  • Ensure on time delivery as measured by percentage of Turn Around Time
  • Remote Oversight of European Repair Station in France
  • Remote tracking of 3rd Party Repair Stations through data management, meetings, and virtual management
  • Continuous development of staff through monitoring and training
  • Provide consistent and clear leadership for Repairs staff through developed processes, training, and motivational meetings
  • Manage staff to review, improve, and create processes for directing the Repair staff to perform tasks in the intended manner for all Repairs
  • Develop process improvements for business system, Dynamics365, to maximize efficiency
  • Maintain Repairs business goals through assistance with contract negotiation, supplier management, and expansion of world-wide repair service centers
  • Maximize Repairs department profitability through cost reduction, process optimization, and product re-design
  • Collaborate with Customer Service team to provide consistent communication between shop and Customers
  • Work with Logistics Manager to ensure correct parts are held in inventory
  • Report department status to Repairs Director

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 5+ years of experience working in Part 145 Repair Station Management
  • 3+ years of experience working in a Management role
  • Basic knowledge of budgetary process

Benefits

The starting pay range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
