Business Development Executive (Civil / Construction Services) - Columbus, OH - JOB 440-24-00310

Salary Range: $130K - $175K Permanent Position with Benefits.

A Civil & Environmental Consulting Firm is seeking to hire a Regional Market Director to grow this firm's central Ohio business. The Regional Market Director will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships. They will act as the main point of contact for communication for client acquisition strategies to other business locations. A hybrid option is available for this position (combination of work at office and home).

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelors or Masters in Civil or Environment Engineering or other related degree.
• Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) desired but not required.
• Seeking candidates that have 10 years or more experience in Business Development experience or combination of regional and or leadership experience.
• Work occasional evening hours when necessary.
• Seeking a leader that has ability to maintain existing work and relationships, increase business opportunities, and close deals.
• Build strong relationships with new contacts, network, and maintain long-term relationships.
• Seeking analytical thinkers that have above average communications and have excellent leadership qualities.
• This position will not have direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Increase and develop new client relationships within the central Columbus, Ohio area for water resources; green and blue infrastructure; transportation; site development; parks; construction management; surveying; community planning; campgrounds; and environmental and ecological services.
• Build and raise this firm's brand in the central region.
• Oversee and guide implementation of the service groups' business plans.
• Develop proposals / contracts, and assist the project team with determining project requirements, budgets, deliverables, and scope.
• Work with Project Managers to ensure that assigned projects meet client's schedule, needs, business objectives, and project goals.
• Author and implement business development strategies, including client relationship development, client pursuits, new introductions, and revenue procurement for the region.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and technical conferences for business development purposes.
• Ensure effective and timely communications on pursuits and capture strategies between the Central Ohio region and other company locations.
