Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the SEO Manager is to lead a team of regional SEO Coordinators to curate (edit, upload, audit, measure) all website content for the M/I Homes website. This role will be a champion for improving the quality and quantity of content supporting our communities, homes and plans. Must work collaboratively with internal teams in multiple cities, as well as external vendors. The candidate should have experience conceptualizing, executing, and measuring large organic search campaigns. The candidate should have an expert knowledge of SEM methods (PPC, Keyword Research, Link Building, etc) as it relates to SEO and website content.
This position is an onsite opportunity located at Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coach, manage, and support a team of SEO Coordinators to achieve and maintain rank position
Implement and monitor the organic search practice for all pages of the website
Support internal teams with education and training
Participate in monitoring and researching daily lead generation
Compile and analyze data for ad hoc reporting
Participate in digital marketing campaign brainstorming sessions
Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and web metrics
Strong proficiency in Excel to generate traffic and performance reports
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Education Experience:
5+ years of SEO experience
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent writing and copy-editing capability
Knowledge of WCM or CMS platforms
Comfortable reading and writing HTML, CSS and XML
Must be extremely organized, detailed oriented, and self-motivated
Ability to prioritize and manage time
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn new technical applications
Experience with CRM systems
Sitecore knowledge or experience a plus
