Commercial Operations Manager

The Commercial Strategy Manager will focus on supporting our Chief Commercial Officer with ad-hoc projects that enable sales growth (EX: developing sales materials/presentations, training, and sales tools). This highly collaborative role works alongside key stakeholders in all aspects of the organization including Business Development, Marketing, Strategy, etc. This individual will function as a chief-of-staff for the Commercial team and will be the point-person on critical projects and strategic partnerships both internally and externally.

This position would report directly to our Chief Commercial Officer.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own Ad-Hoc Projects: in support of the Commercial team. Own projects that dont have a clear fit within the department
  • Action Planning: This individual will be able to turn ideas into clear actionable plans then act as the point-person to see those projects through successfully
  • Own meetings: with internal and external partners as Project Manager and report updates and action items to CCO
  • Continuously Improving: our approach, processes, systems, and technology leveraged to help us always be at the cutting edge of sales processes
  • Enable sales team: with competitive go-to-market strategies and positioning tools to meet organizational objectives
  • Define Commercial Analytics strategy: alongside our VP of Commercial Operations and supporting team.
  • Develop content: in partnership with the marketing and sales team to drive interest and turn objections into interest and engagement
  • Delivery and Development: to create a high-impact Sales Enablement Program to improve sales capabilities and drive a culture of innovation
  • Establishing strong cross-functional relationships: by working closely with sales, marketing, commercial operations, IT and other related functions to ensure a one team approach

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree required : Business degree or related field preferred
  • 3+ years experience working in professional services such as: strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or similar environment
  • Startup / High Growth business: 2+ years working in a high-growth environment where you had to build processes and systems
  • Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Smart, humble, driven, and a team player
