The role

This role is ideal for the entry level retail leader, who is willing to grow and be developed into a Store Manager role. You will play an important role in the building of our retail business unit and representing our brand to the masses. Reporting into the Retail Operations Manager, you will be integral to the success of Love, Bonito especially as we go into hyper growth over the next few years!

Your main role is to train and coach your co-workers in educating our guests, and maintaining the best customer experience on the sales floor. Through our guest interactions, we aim to empower women to gain confidence through styling and clothing. At Love, Bonito, we put the LB woman at the heart of everything we do.

The location

Our very first store in the United States is located in SoHo, at 465 Broadway New York, New York 10013(link removed) Not only is the location convenient and in one of Manhattans most prominent shopping districts, but it is also very safe. We strive to make sure all of our employees feel comfortable and safe both at work and on their commute to work. Come check us out!


Main responsibilities:

  • Support in day-to-day leadership and key areas of store operations
  • Work with the team and Retail Operations Manager to lead store sales performance by thoroughly understanding sales performance of individual products in order to execute good layout fundamentals
  • Drive customer service excellence - drives KPIs such as CX and NPS scores
  • Coach staff members in providing the best guest experience, and plays a hands-on role on the sales floor - delegates work, encourages and provides feedback to the team on areas of CS during daily operations
  • Acts as the outstanding "go to" person who actively builds team cohesion and works with the Retail Operations Manager to weed out toxicity in the teams dynamics
  • Provide a seamless shopping experience and ensure that all merchandize are available in all colours, sizes, and quantities on the floor on a daily check basis
  • Oversee daily and weekly deliverables such as the store checklist and bag-checklists
  • Receive and manage processing new stock, replenishments, returns, damages and transfers, as well as support all stock-take exercises in accordance to the rules
  • Register excellence: Store opening and closing procedures, as well as being fully equipped with the knowledge and experience to investigate and eliminate daily discrepancies
  • Preparing Store team schedule on a monthly basis, reviewing it biweekly, ensuring that the store has sufficient coverage based on the business dynamics.
  • Act as the first interviewer for all walk-in applicants, hiring the correct personnel for team and cultural fit
  • Using team talks, shares knowledge regarding company general information, fashion news, new product information, customer feedback and staff communication

  • A store operations savvy retail professional with the ability to both drive the sales team and manage BOH operations

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a retail leadership role, or equivalent
  • Min education level: High school diploma
  • A good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) will be a plus.

Hours and Compensation:

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week, 5 day work week. Open to both opening and closing shifts. Flexibility
