The Douglas County Emergency Telephone Service Authority (DCETSA) is seeking experienced firm to perform Geographic Information System (GIS) services. DCETSA intends to evaluate submitted proposals and award contracts to a single firm exhibiting comprehensive GIS experience fulfilling the scope and criteria outlined in this Request for Proposals.
DCETSA is a board of public safety agencies within Douglas County. DCETSA is looking to partner with an outside firm to assess the unique GIS needs of the participating public safety agencies and establish a reliable system to maintain and collaborate GIS data crucial to providing 911 services to the citizens of Douglas County. We are specifically looking for expertise in Next Generation 911 Standards and setting up an ArcGIS Online environment. In addition to these needs, we have data maintenance tasks that need to be addressed in a timely manner. A vendor with ESRI Partnership is preferred.
DCETSA currently has no GIS personnel employed by the board, however we are in the process of finding the right candidate. The winning firm will be crucial in setting up the framework necessary for success for both the firm and the employee. They will be working in partnership to create and analyze high-quality data as well as assuring the integrity can be used for the upcoming Colorado Statewide Next Generation 911 GIS. There will also be a collaboration to assure the data schemas can be used by all agencies represented by DCETSA. The ability to attend and report monthly to the DCETSA GIS Sub-Committee meetings are required. Attendance via Teams meetings is acceptable.
