North Penn Endodontics is looking for a competent Dental Assistant (I/II) who will make our office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You will ensure excellent patient service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentists shoulders. The Dental Assistant should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for the day's schedule
• Greet and dismiss patients

• Take digital x-rays

• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry

• Set up and break down of operatories

• Sterilizing

• Monitoring of autoclaves

• Stocking of supplies

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Current x-ray license
• Current license, if RDA
• Current CPR certification
• Current knowledge of OSHA standards and PCI/HIPAA compliance
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Good computer skills
