- Owns program schedule and budget, both development and maintenance of them.
- Manages and makes visible program risks both as they emerge and throughout the lifecycle of the program.
- Communication and escalation to leadership as issues arise.
- Expected to facilitate solutions within the working team and get leadership approval or buy in as needed.
- Perform as interface between the internal functions, managing the transfer of information and requests.
- Assure timely resolution of issues, keep the stakeholders advised of the progress of the program, and negotiate changes, variations, solutions to issues.
- Contributes towards strategy and program development, and ensure delivery within area of responsibility.
- Has in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; has working knowledge of creating, managing and executing for program scheduling & budgeting
- Uses judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems within programs, schedules, and product lines
- Owns the schedule, budget, resource identification, and priority discussions for large programs from conception through validation.
- Demonstrate effective risk mitigation and problem solving resolution
- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks are consistent with engineering procedures
- Drive simplification and standardization of best practices into engineering analyses, validation, and program execution
Base Salary
$150,000 - $220,000
Requirements - Bachelors degree
- 8+ years relevant experience in a Program Management function
- Prior experience working on enterprise software
- Ability to understand software technology; able to participate and contribute to technical conversations
- Ability to influence others even when you do not have direct authority over them
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Kanban software development methodologies
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence
- Prior experience at a large corporation preferred
