What You'll Do:

Provides functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Presents and articulates the capabilities and values of Single Digits Solutions versus our competitors. Works with Sales to receive and understand the network requirements, review survey documentation, and build out site specific design documentation for opportunities of all sizes and strategic values. Proactively supports an opportunity pipeline to drive potential opportunities through the sales process to closure.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Provide a solution that is the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet the prospect's needs.
  • Play a key role in the development of the bid and proposal and with presenting the solution to the prospect.
  • Provide specific solutions/technology/ product consulting and technical and sales support for accounts.
  • Work with Salesforce to manage priorities, update opportunities, and update design status.
  • Complete quality checks/peer reviews of other team members work.
  • Maintain account relationships over time to continue to deliver advice to the client and identify additional opportunities; maintain and manage a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
  • Develop competitive knowledge including solution, technology, and product offerings.


Requirements

Education:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of formal education and work experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Network Engineering, Design, or Field Service role to include proficient experience with WiFi standards, designs, and best practices and experience with numerous switch and wireless manufacturers (for example, HP/Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, ICX, Cambium, etc.).
  • Experience gathering client data to effectively customize a solution for the client and then presenting the solution to the client so that it is well received.

Licenses, Certifications, and Screenings:

  • Upon hire, must pass background screen to include employment history, college education, and license/certification verifications, and criminal check.

Knowledge:

  • Relevant industry certifications (for example, CWNA, ECSE, ECMS, ACMA, CCNA, etc.) preferred.
  • Proficient with IP, VoIP, WAN, and LAN technologies and applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visio, AirMagnet, Ekahau site survey, and other RF planning and testing tools.
  • Understanding of physical cabling required for network designs.
