About the role

The Training Specialist will be accountable for delivering and facilitating training to new and current Citeline customers. In addition to training delivery, this person will also be accountable for measuring and assessing the impact of the various offerings that are available to clients. This role will deliver training primarily in a virtual environment though there may be opportunity to travel onsite as needed.


Responsibilities
  • Keep up to date on the latest changes and enhancements to our products and modify or create collateral to reflect those changes.
  • Provide timely and relatable feedback to the product team based on information gathered during training sessions. Primarily related to common issues uncovered, frequent feature requests, etc.
  • Obtain a general understanding of the customer, in partnership with account managers, in order to customize training for the end users.
  • Work with individuals across the Sales and Client Success teams to evangelize the Citeline training offerings. The Training Specialist will regularly seek feedback from these teams to ensure relevancy of course content as well as to ensure alignment with business priorities and needs.
  • Collaborating with existing subject matter experts on current and upcoming products in order to contribute to the design and maintenance of current training programs and ensure content is relevant and up to date

Requirements

  • BA/BSc in science or related discipline preferred
  • 1-3+ years of related experience supporting a sales organization
  • Strong Interpersonal skills, highly motivated, with a strong orientation toward client relationships
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills a must. Communication skills to translate complex yet informative messaging for clients
  • Ability to work well independently and on a team
  • Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and respond to clients timely
  • Ability to handle pressure, juggle multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and work well with a diverse customer base and various internal teams
  • Strong knowledge of and familiarity with the Microsoft office suite; able to create client-ready deliverables in Excel and PowerPoint to present fundamental concepts, critical thinking and analysis.

Bonus points if you have experience in

  • Life Sciences industry
  • Experience using CRM tools, (link removed)

Travel: Up to 10% Travel may be required

Location: US (remote)

This is a full-time position.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $70,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus(link removed)>
