The Roofing Foreman will be responsible for building a roofing from the ground up. This team will be responsible for installing various roofing materials including shingles, rubber roof, windows, exterior doors, decks, etc. As a lead, you will be responsible for supervising and providing leadership to the roofing crew.

Responsabilities:

• Manage the day-to-day activities of crew members
• Ensure the safety of the crew and others around the job site
• Responsible for quality work and daily production from crew
• Track and report progress of assigned jobs, looking ahead and communicate future needs, obstacles, etc.
• Communicate with the superintendent, manager, crew, and vendors
• Research new roofing systems or other systems as needed
• Keep current with, and apply all safety and construction procedures, methods and standards to every building
• Perform safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a roofing foreman (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in both roofing with a variety of materials
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Rubber Roof experience
• Window installation experience
• Building Envelope experience
• Must have a good understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
• Roofing versatility in commercial types and asphalt would be a major plus
