BPCM, a leading public relations and communications agency, is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their team in the Beauty department. As the Account Executive - Beauty, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations initiatives for your clients. This includes managing daily account activities, building and maintaining relationships with key media contacts, crafting thoughtful and compelling media pitches, and ensuring the successful implementation of client events and programs. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be responsible for delivering exceptional results and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic public relations initiatives for assigned beauty clients
- Act as the primary client contact and maintain strong relationships with key media contacts
- Pitch and secure media coverage across print, digital, and broadcast channels
- Manage daily account activities and maintain regular communication with clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of client events and programs
- Conduct regular industry research and stay up-to-date on beauty trends
- Provide support on new business development and pitch initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in Public Relations with a focus on beauty
- Strong media relationships and proven track record of success in securing media coverage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and work well under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for beauty and the ability to stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
Location: This role is based in our Brooklyn, NY office on a hybrid basis. The BPCM staff is in-office 2 days per week.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
