As we continue to grow, Tender Lawn Care offers seasonal and full time employment opportunities. We are currently looking for energetic, customer service oriented, career minded individuals to join our successful team. As a fertilizing and weed control technician, you will be responsible to service customer lawns in your route as you apply fertilizer, treat weeds, and perform other professional applications while ensuring amazing customer service. You will also be responsible for monitoring lawns for disease, keeping accurate records of pesticides, and performing basic maintenance on fertilization equipment.
Schedule: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday; occasional Saturdays and overtime required
Requirements
Tender Lawn Care is looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals who meet the following requirements:
- Valid Drivers License
- Solid Driving Record, required for insurance purposes.
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Advanced problem solving skills and proven time management skills.
- Possession or ability to obtain MDARD certifications in categories 3a & 6 within two weeks of of hire date.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds (8-10) hours per day.
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions (8-10) hours per day.
- Previous experience working with a lawn and landscape company preferred.
