Valard Construction USA is a premier utility contractor based out of the US and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Valard has full-service capabilities for transmission, distribution, substations, foundations, telecommunications and renewable energy. Valard Construction USA is a non-union US contractor.
In preparation for upcoming projects, we are seeking a Crane Operator (certification required) to be based out of Rawlins, Wyoming.
Rotation/Shift: 20 days-on / 10 days-off
Requirements
- Perform activities in line with weight Certification
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections as required to insure the safe operation of crane or truck
- Perform safe operations of men in a basket and other stringing activities
- Complete necessary daily documentation (e.g. truck log, crane log, etc.)
- Perform regular maintenance of crane/truck in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations
- Have a working knowledge and understanding of applicable federal, provincial, and municipal regulations
- Ensure equipment is loaded, rigged, hoisted, and secured properly
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, consistent with safe operating practices
- Secure all equipment and attachments while in transit or left unattended
- Class 1 License is a minimum requirement
