John S. Curtin CPA Chartered is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Income Tax Preparer to join our team, part time. As an Income Tax Preparer, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals (link removed) The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, and have excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare Individual income tax returns, from raw data to completed returns ready to be reviewed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with other members of the John S. Curtin CPA Chartered team to provide excellent service to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in income tax preparation
- Knowledge of tax codes and regulations at the federal and state levels
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience with Profx software
