Key Responsibilities

  • Reports to Director of Finance supporting the VP of Sales, Non-Beverage and the Director of Sales, Specialty and the Club and e-Commerce channels. Provide financial support and guidance to Congo Brands Non-Beverage and Specialty Teams. Lead budget and forecast process for Congo Brands Specialty and Non-Beverage.
  • Manage a team of 3 Financial Analysts responsible for Sales, Promotion and Expense budgets and forecasts for Specialty and Non-Beverage Teams.
  • Prepare and manage topline sales, promotion spend and SG&A forecasts at the customer, product and channel levels. Provide sales, pricing and promotional spend variance analyses and explanations.
  • Conduct regular analyses of promotional ROI and collaborate with the Specialty and Non-Beverage Teams to increase return on investment.
  • Utilize customer and channel P&Ls in collaboration with Specialty and Non-Beverage Teams to maximize customer and channel profitability.
  • Collaborate with A/R in facilitating timely customer remittances and resolving payment and deduction disputes.
  • Support the VP of Sales, Non-Beverage and the Director of Sales, Specialty and the Director of Finance on special projects and corporate initiatives.
  • Lead, manage, and grow the Conventional, Club and Specialty Sales Finance team while providing guidance, mentorship, and support. Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 7+ years of finance experience (investment banking, financial consulting, corporate finance, FP&A, etc.) including 2+ years in management roles.
  • CPG Industry experience preferred; ideally, with in-depth understanding of DSD, consumer promotional vehicles and customer relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial modeling, and financial reporting including GAAP accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Oracle NetSuite experience preferred.
