Beltway Companies, the largest commercial truck dealership in the state of Maryland, offers full-service truck and warranty repairs for International trucks, Jerr-Dan bodies, Kalmar-Ottawa yard jockies, Cummins engines, and Eaton and Meritor drivetrains. We take the hassle out of truck operations with more than 92 service bays and over $3 million in stocked parts. Locations include Annapolis, Baltimore, Cumberland, Elkton, Frederick, Hagerstown, and Idealease of Baltimore.

Our Parts Counter Sales Representatives are a vital part of the Parts Department and maintaining our customer experience standards. We have immediate openings for experienced associates at our Frederick dealership.

Qualified candidates will have 4+ years of parts department experience, preferably in a truck dealership or truck aftermarket environment. Must have a high school degree or equivalent. Position requires excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, and basic PC skills.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Greet customers in a timely, friendly manner
  • Fulfill customers walk-in or phone orders
  • Quickly, accurately, and professionally respond to customer requests
  • Manage orders from inventory, parts orders, and special orders
  • Maintain accurate records for pricing, stock levels, invoices, and customer needs
  • Organize and maintain the counter and parts display areas
  • Assist in warehouse management as needed

SKILL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a Parts department, truck dealership, or truck aftermarket environment
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience in automotive or truck mechanics
  • Basic computer and mathematics skills
  • Experience with Procede preferred
  • The ability to lift at least 50 pounds, unaided

Must be able to periodically work beyond the scheduled 8-hour shift, as directed by the Parts Manager.
