Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is seeking a Telecom Funding Analyst II to work under the direction of the Funding Program Manager assisting in the day to day management of CHCs funding service line. CHCs Telecom Funding Program product line is instrumental in helping rural hospitals reduce telecom spend while improving telecommunication services.

The Telecom Funding Analyst II assists in the day to day operation by completing and submitting the appropriate documentation to appropriate agencies, interfacing with clients and governmental agencies, as well as developing and presenting regular client reports and CHC reports.

Requirements

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education, certifications and related experience.
  • Minimum 2 years telecommunications experience
  • Experience supporting or selling telecommunications services, preferably Commercial Client Support or Commercial Telecom Services or Account Management.
  • The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks and projects at once, and will need to be able to keep track of the details in order to ensure that everything is completed on time and to a high standard
  • The ideal candidate will have previous experience dealing with an array of communications services. These services include, but are not limited to, fixed telephone services, network and data communication services, and information services. Previous experience in sales and support of telecom services recommended.
  • Previous USAC experience is a plus++

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Manager to develop and execute on process improvement plans.
  • Work with Manager to develop and maintain a program to support Telecom Consulting to maximize program value and improve client telecom services.
  • Maintain USAC Customer database and develop process, policy and procedure documentation.
  • Complete, submit, and receive approval for all required forms related to competitive bidding for Telecommunication Programs and related to funding requests for the Telecommunication Programs (including RHC Telecommunication and HCF programs).
  • Keep clients informed of changes in program processes.
  • Attend training and related conferences to establish and maintain key relationships while staying up-to-date on program and industry specifics.
  • Manage and maintain Customer information and CHC process, policy and procedures.
  • Work with Manager to track client telecommunications vendors, accounts and corresponding vendor contact information.
  • Work with AP and administrative support teams to manage all required client billing.
  • Assist clients with USAC Audit
  • The ability to learn and understand various telecom service types and applicable components
  • Promote health care delivery and telemedicine in rural areas by providing a sufficient and more predictable source of universal service funding
  • Assist eligible rural health care providers obtain rates on telecommunications services in rural areas that are reasonably comparable to rates charged for similar services in corresponding urban areas(link removed)>
  • Help make funding determinations and calculate disbursements
  • Work with Manager to understand funding eligibility requirements
