Job Title: Spray Foam Technician

Employer: Boxman Studios

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Production Manager

Job Description:

• Uses, maintains, and trouble shoots spray foam equipment.
• Maintains product at the right temperature.
• Preps units for spray foam.
• Install plastic barriers to protect insulation from moisture.
• Sprays 20 units (ceilings and underneath) and 40 units (underneath only).
• Spray Foam insulation to fit into walls and around wires/pipes.
• Accurately record all material used in the installation.
• Quality assurance (QA) duties, including reporting product damages and shortages with containers or materials.
• Maintains clean work area & 5S of spray foam room/area.
• Ensure job site is safe and all materials are out of the way upon completion.
• Analyzes productions schedules to determine timely spraying of units.

• Attend and participate in all required safety meetings and training sessions.
• Communicates with coworkers and leaders to supply production line with sprayed containers.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Ability to read and understand safety guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination, peripheral vision, and manual dexterity in both hands.
• Efficient individual with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Attention to detail.
• Must be able to walk and carry items on uneven ground.
• Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
• Must be able to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Must be able to work in a dirty, dusty, oily environment.
• While performing these job duties, the employee is consistently required to lift, carry, push, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, reach, work with hands and fingers. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, & walk.

Education & Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License.
• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years experience of Spray Foaming and Maintaining Spray Foam Equipment
• English & Spanish is a plus.
• OSHA Certified.
