Role: Senior Lathe Programmer

On-Site: Burnsville, Minnesota

Salary: 65,000 - $90,000

Recruiting Heroes is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Lathe Programmer to join our client's team in Burnsville, Minnesota.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years experience in lathe programming, with a specific focus on heavy programming for Turn Mill and Mill turn machines equipped with multiple turrets and spindles. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of CNC machining, the ability to create complex programs, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for Turn Mill and Mill turn machines with multiple turrets and spindles.
• Create tool lists for new parts, estimate tool life, and develop setup layouts for machining operations.
• Troubleshoot and debug CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to enhance manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Utilize CADCAM software to enhance programming capabilities (experience in CADCAM is a plus).
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and the ability to work with Fanuc-based machines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in lathe programming.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy programming for Turn Mill and Mill turn machines with multiple turrets and spindles.
• Proficiency in creating tool lists, estimating tool life, and developing setup layouts.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles and practices.
• Experience with CADCAM software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programming for Fanuc-based machines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
