Summary:

The Program Coordinator II (PC II) coordinates projects of small, mid-size, within one or across multiple business units, in support of the consulting project lead and other project team members. This position involves controlling and monitoring project activities from initiation through closure while adhering to standards with respect to the cost, time, scope, quality, and risk management aspects of the project.

The Program Coordinator II serves on project teams in the capacity of Program Coordinator.

Location: United States or Canada
Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates team communication and liaises with sponsors and third-party contractors.
  • Schedules and prepares for and attends all project team meetings by preparing agendas and documenting meeting discussions as needed.
  • Manages meeting follow-up activities, including finalization and distribution of meeting minutes and the tracking of action items and decisions.
  • Supports the collection, filing, tracking, and transferring of all project documentation.
  • Tracks project budgets, and provides support to the finance functional area with forecasting and the invoicing process.
  • Supports document preparation and reviews.
  • Assists in the preparation, compilation, quality control, and submission of documents required for a regulatory body or sponsor.
  • Prepares status reports and project review reports.
  • Performs work assignments based on detailed instructions for each task.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent degree in a scientific area and/or relevant experience

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Proficiency with various computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management applications.
  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail.
  • Outgoing and positive individual with basic level skills relating to management of daily tasks, project resources, project contracts, and project financials.
  • Contributes to projects with basic level of proactive thinking and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exhibits basic planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks while demonstrating flexibility to reprioritize to meet changing timelines.
  • Provides support to internal and external meetings including scheduling, documenting, and participating with management supervision.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work in a team setting with the potential to work autonomously when required
  • Maintains basic level knowledge of standard operating procedures.
  • Thinks ahead for potential opportunities and challenges.
  • 1 years experience as a Program Coordinator I or equivalent experience.
