Lifesharing is provided in the following counties in Pennsylvania:
Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Monroe, Montgomery, Northampton, Pike and Schuylkill
By becoming a Lifesharing Provider, you will have the opportunity to open your home and share your life with an adult with an intellectual disability. Your support and guidance empower the individual to reach for and achieve their goals and aspirations. Individuals served through the Lifesharing program may work outside of the home or attend day programs.
We believe strongly in the matching process, and you get to choose who comes to live with you. Additionally, there are multiple preplacement visits before scheduling a move in date.
One of our onboarding coordinators will assist you through the process of becoming a Lifesharing Provider. To expedite your application, we have made efficiencies in our processes as the need for Lifesharing families and individuals is great!

Requirements
- Have a home (with one or two private bedrooms available) that is insured (renter's or homeowner's) and passes safety standards established by the state of Pennsylvania
- Reside in one of our service counties (listed above)
- Provide Criminal Record Checks, Child Abuse Clearances, and FBI Clearances for everyone age 18 and over living in the home. Local Police and Child Protective checks will also be conducted.
- Must have a social security number.
- PA Drivers license and vehicle are required.
Benefits
- As an independent contractor, a generous non-taxed stipend starts at $2,300/month. Individuals have funds available for clothing and other personal expenses.

- Access Services is known for being a supportive organization and we provide training, assistance, and twenty-four-hour on-call support.
- You will also receive thirty days of respite where the individual living with you can go and stay with one of our respite providers, in the event you need alternative coverage, or just a break.
