Position Overview: As a Social Media Growth Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase the online presence, engagement, and following of our brand or organization across various social media platforms, with a primary focus on Instagram. This role demands a deep understanding of social media trends, analytics, and a proven track record of growing social media channels. Key Responsibilities: - Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media growth strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and target audience.
- Instagram Expertise: Be the Instagram guru and lead the efforts to grow our Instagram presence through content creation, audience engagement, followers and leveraging Instagram's features and tools.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with content creators and designers to develop engaging and visually appealing content tailored to each platform. Ensure content is consistent with the brand's voice and message.
- Audience Engagement: Foster meaningful interactions with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and engaging with followers. Encourage user-generated content and monitor hashtags and mentions.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze social media metrics, using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights, to track progress and make data-driven decisions to optimize growth strategies.
- Competitor Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities. Identify opportunities to outperform competitors in terms of engagement and following.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including giveaways, contests, and influencer collaborations, to drive follower growth and engagement.
- Collaborations and Partnerships: Identify and collaborate with influencers, partners, and other organizations to expand the brand's reach and grow the social media audience.
- SEO and Hashtag Strategy: Utilize SEO techniques and effective hashtag strategies to increase the discoverability of the brand's content and profiles.
- Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates. Implement strategies accordingly.
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, with a proven track record of growing social media channels, especially Instagram.
- Platform Expertise: Proficiency in managing various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Creativity: A creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content ideas and stay updated with industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to maintain the brand's voice and engage effectively with the audience.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively plan and execute social media campaigns.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with content creators, designers, and other team members.
- Adaptability: The digital landscape is constantly evolving; the candidate must be adaptable and willing to learn new tools and techniques.
Education: A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant experience and a strong portfolio may be considered in place of formal education.
