Spectrum Comm Inc is seeking an Administrative Specialist - Journeyman to join our talented team in the Defense & Space industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the organization, ensuring efficient and effective operations. As an Administrative Specialist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your exceptional organizational and multitasking skills while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Tracking and reporting travel arrangements
  • Processing and distributing travel orders.
  • Processing travel vouchers in DTS.
  • Setting-up and maintaining file plan.
  • Engaging SAB members and external stakeholders on travel-related items.
  • Tracking and reporting SAB members time worked, travel order status, travel voucher status, meeting, and attendee status, etc
  • Creating, editing, and maintaining MS Access and SharePoint databases.
  • Performing reconciliations between databases.
  • Maintaining records and executing government administrative policies.
  • Receiving and distributing mail, managing correspondence, and action item tasking and tracking including monitoring deadlines in TMT, and reviewing correspondence for correctness

  • Independently reviewing outgoing correspondence and ensuring handling requirements for classified material are accurately followed.
  • Any other tasks closely associated with the performance of duties list above and as coordinated with the COR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in administrative support, preferably in the Air Force
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Have an active Secret level security clearance.
