Upon completing the talent program, our goal is to welcome you to a permanent position at Volvo.RequirementsWho Are We Looking For?- One semester of working experience as a student engineering intern or co-op in automotive or other transportation industry.- B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field, M.Sc preferred- Ability to effectively communicate with and provide feedback to a diverse workforce with differing skill sets and experience.- Bright and analytical tech individuals with a strong ability to solve complex problems and make decisions based on limited information.Responsibilities: Supporting function owners for braking control system development and roadmaps for braking systems in North America Support functional & performance testing with data analysis and technical report writing Completing engineering releases, associated documentation and deliverables Contributing to ensuring new designs fulfill project & business objectives with Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature targets Engaging in networking across the organization and supply base, as well as influencing the work at other sites Verifying component durability by requesting analysis and/or physical verification Initiating and supporting resolution of technical product quality issues and making data based decisions at the subsystem/component level with global and cross-functional alignment Component releases to resolve maintenance issues or secure project deliveries Contributing to report outs on active project deliveries during team leadership meetings Develop and share acquired competence Be part of developing & implementing processes as necessary How to ApplyThe talent program starts in December 2023 and is aimed at those who have completed their education.
