LAC Federal is seeking a Business Requirements Analyst to join their team. As a Business Requirements Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in guiding development and design of a complex website for an information and learning center. This involves working with stakeholders, gathering data, identifying problems and opportunities, and developing requirements to improve processes, systems, and technologies.


Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and technical information and requirements, including data models, process models, and workflow diagrams.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify, assess, and document business needs and requirements, ensuring that requirements are comprehensive, feasible, clear, and consistent.
  • Design and document solutions to meet the requirements, including process and system improvements, enhancements, and new features.
  • Identify and manage scope and requirements changes during the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and quality assurance analysts to ensure that requirements are being properly implemented and tested.
  • Participate in quality assurance testing efforts, including functional testing and user acceptance testing.
  • Support project and portfolio management efforts by providing business analysis, estimating, and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis or related field.
  • Experience developing business requirements, use cases, and process models.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
