We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Quality Team for the 2nd Shift at our facility. (Please note that training may be required on the 1st shift initially.)

Primary Functions:

  • Retrieving parts for inspection.
  • Placing suspect material on hold.
  • Conducting final audits.

What Success Looks Like:As a Quality Representative (QR), your responsibilities include collecting product samples at specified intervals and delivering them for measurement of product characteristics.

You will be responsible for inspecting products according to quality standards. In the event of non-conforming material, you must immediately communicate the issue and follow the Non-Conforming Material (NCM) process. You will create a non-conforming ticket and identify the location of all suspect products within the facility.

For final audits, you will review a designated number of items. This audit aims to ensure proper packaging, labeling, and the overall condition of the product. If any non-conformance is detected, you are expected to promptly communicate the issue and follow the NCM process.

Additionally, QRs may occasionally inspect products according to NCM instructions and assist other members of the Quality Department as required.

  • Thoroughness: Completing tasks with attention to every detail, avoiding superficial or partial work.

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with relevant processes.

Physical Demands:In this role, you may be required to:

  • Regularly walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Possess specific vision abilities related to depth perception and color vision.
  • Lift and carry items weighing less than 25 lbs.

While performing these duties, you will often be exposed to moving or mechanical parts and experience moderate noise levels typical of a manufacturing environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Work Environment:

  • Most of the role takes place on the production floor, with a portion in a laboratory setting.
  • The production floor is an industrial manufacturing environment that can be noisy and fast-paced, with constant movement of heavy equipment.
  • The indoor climate is seasonably warm during summer months and comfortably cool during winter months.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including approved eye protection, is required.
