Position Overview:

Zenni is a mission-driven company with a singular focus, to bring affordable eyeglasses to everyone. As a Product Designer at Zenni on the growing business-to-business squad, youll concept and design intuitive, usable user experiences using flow diagrams, high-fidelity UI, and prototypes for a variety of business partners and prospects including those in: e-commerce, health care, tech & innovation industries. In addition, youll design internal tools & portals both for the Zenni team and partners to interface.

Youll work directly in an agile squad with engineers, PM & business team to rapidly ideate solutions from stages of MVP to later scale based on business requirements. Youre a good fit for this role if comfortable working in the agile sprint model, designing scalable products from MVP to later phases.

What we want you to own in this role:

• Take ownership and lead design projects of ambiguous scope from end to end, partnering with product managers, engineers, researchers, and business stakeholders
• Deliver user flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity UI design & interaction, and prototypes that effectively communicate interaction and design through annotations.
• Advance your design rationale backed by user research, data, and industry trends (baymard, NNG, etc)
• Manage time and project expectations appropriately when working on multiple projects at a time - you can work autonomously and make informed decisions
• Proactively seek input and feedback on your design work, and contribute constructively to design reviews
• Business-minded approach to finding win-win solutions for consumers, partners, and the Zenni business
• Storytelling and communication skills for various stakeholder audiences

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5-7 years of experience in product design or UX
• A portfolio with shipped design work
• Fluent & passionate about accessibility standards
• Experience working with technical teams in a cross-functional role
• Experience in e-commerce best practices
  Experience in service design & designing for internal tools
• Experience in complexities of health care, finance, and SaaS industries
• Can deliver with velocity in an agile sprint squad structure
• Always ask the why? and take ownership & initiative
• Fluent in Figma and mobile-first responsive design

As of 08/15/2023, the expected compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 USD. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Companys business needs.
