Our client, a rapid growth e-commerce company operating in the dynamic fashion industry, is actively searching for a versatile and results-driven Director of Digital Marketing. This pivotal role requires a professional with a proven track record of achieving substantial sales growth across various digital marketing channels, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram Reels, email marketing campaigns, in-person events such as Pop Up stores and booths, and strategic influencer partnerships. While prior experience within the fashion industry is highly preferred, exceptional candidates with a background in other renowned retail brands will also be considered.


Position Overview

As the Director of Digital Marketing, you will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer while maintaining a dotted line to the Founder/CEO. Your primary responsibilities will encompass the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies, with a strong focus on email marketing, social media management, influencer marketing, and e-commerce optimization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a robust email marketing strategy that enhances customer engagement.
    • Implement compelling promotional campaigns to boost sales and app conversion rates.
    • Drive product sales through targeted email marketing efforts.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Take charge of social media initiatives on platforms like TikTok and Instagram.
    • Craft and execute captivating content and campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
    • Analyze and optimize social media performance to achieve tangible business outcomes.
  • Influencer Marketing:
    • Build and manage strategic influencer partnerships to elevate brand presence.
    • Collaborate with influencers to create impactful content and drive sales through effective influencer collaborations.
    • Monitor and measure the ROI of influencer marketing campaigns.
  • E-commerce Expertise:
    • Leverage e-commerce best practices to maximize online web and app sales.
    • Implement strategies to improve conversion rates and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to continuously innovate and refine e-commerce operations.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and meet the requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in digital marketing, with a track record of successfully driving sales and engagement across various channels.
  • Familiarity with the fashion industry and a deep understanding of consumer behavior within this space (experience in retail brands is also valued).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute marketing plans that align with business goals.
  • Proficiency in using marketing and analytics tools/platforms.
  • A creative thinker who can develop innovative marketing campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
